  • A graduate of the University of Paris V-René Descartes [Masters in Judicial Careers, DEA (post-graduate degree) in private law] and of the University College London, and recipient of the Certificat d’Aptitude à la Profession d’Avocat (the postgraduate legal qualification required to practice as a lawyer in France) in 1990, Nathalie FINKELSTEIN became immediately involved in the fields of commercial litigation and business law.
  • After practicing for several years in a French firm specializing in commercial law, Nathalie FINKELSTEIN joined the firm Clyde & Co in Paris in 1995 where she developed her expertise in the field of commercial and insurance law.
  • She was particularly involved in the field of credit insurance and has developed considerable expertise in the field of reinsurance involving transnational litigation cases managed between Paris and London.
  • Nathalie FINKELSTEIN, along with Bertrand COURTOIS, created the Law Firm of COURTOIS & FINKELSTEIN in early 2002.
  • While she regularly argues cases involving transportation disputes before French jurisdictions, Nathalie FINKELSTEIN brings to the Firm a genuine expertise in the field of general commercial litigation as well as in real estate litigation, allowing for a real diversification of the Firm’s activities.
  • Nathalie FINKELSTEIN has also successfully developed advisory services in the sale of operating assets and in drafting legal documents in the field of commercial and business law.
